Born and raised in Uttarakhand, I can confidently say this –  Uttarakhand stands out as one of the premier destinations for adventure seekers, spiritualists, history enthusiasts, as well as families and couples alike.

Personally, I have a very strong attachment and affection for Uttarakhand, and I want everyone to realize how amazing Uttarakhand is. So, In this blog, I’m trying to compile all of my life and travel experiences into a text form. 

And for a simple goal – To inspire and assist fellow travelers like you in exploring Uttarakhand effortlessly and more efficiently

My Motto/Philosophy

Before we move further, I want to share a glimpse of my inner philosophy and motto that have shaped my journey.

Uttarakhand is the best destination – I am a native citizen, so my answer can be biased. Still, I think Uttarakhand is one of the best destinations to explore, whether you are looking for adventure, spirituality, nature, romantic places or just a normal time.

Sustainability and preservation – Uttarakhand stands as a pristine, pollution-free haven immersed in nature’s glory. However, the sustainability of this environment relies on the collective efforts of each individual, including you and me, along with the significant role of the government. 

Embrace new experiences – Life is a journey. There is no point sitting around a limited area, when there is a vast world outside awaiting your arrival. So, whenever you get a chance to experience a new destination, you should take it.

Nature is the best destination – I believe Nature is the ultimate travel destination, it’s beneficial for your health, mind and soul. Luckily, Uttarakhand has an abundance of natural wonders, like a serene climate, cascading waterfalls, towering mountains, charming rivers etc.

Try different Adventures – Embrace the adventures life offers; they bring an adrenaline rush, valuable lessons, and unforgettable experiences. Fortunately, Uttarakhand offers an abundance of thrilling adventure activities to fulfill your quest for excitement.

I believe in spirituality – If you are a spiritual person, and believe in Hinduism and mythology, then Uttarakhand should be your prime destination. It has some prestigious religious destinations, like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Tung Nath, and so on. However, beside them, It has countless shrines and temples with a little pinch of adventure.

Everyone should visit Uttarakhand – This is my personal opinion, but I highly recommend you to plan a trip to Uttarakhand, even if it’s a one-day trip. Immerse yourself in the lush nature and wildlife. Because I believe you’ll find it to be a truly rewarding experience.

My Mission

Since I created this blog (or even before it), I always had two primary goals – 

First and foremost, my prime objective is to assist young and new travel enthusiasts, much like yourself, in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding adventure in Uttarakhand.

In each blog or destination, I try to address every query and problem that you might face in your next journey. Such as where to go, how to get there, the best time to visit, important considerations, packing essentials, what to avoid, and much more. This will surely enhance your experience.  

Secondly, my goal is to highlight the awe-inspiring beauty of Uttarakhand and establish it as not just a top destination in India but possibly worldwide.

Whether you’re a senior citizen, nature lover, adventure seeker, couple, or history enthusiast, Uttarakhand has something to offer everyone. In short, it’s a place for all.

My Background

Basic Details

Before I go further, let’s take a peek at my life. So, again my name is Sumed Panwar. Currently, I’m a husband and father. I own a resort in Rishikesh which I inaugurated last year. I graduated from the University of Uttarakhand, and since then I have been a part of the online world in many ways, like digital marketing, image editing etc.

Hobbies

Since my childhood, I always had a habit of writing down important points and experiences in a diary and even over the phone. This hobby of mine was one of the major reasons for this blog’s existence.

Dream

Everyone has a dream, some are childish while some are grounded and easily feasible. The same goes for me, I always had a simple yet exciting dream – To explore my home state, record my journey, and share it with a particular audience of young and anxious travelers. 

And in year 2023, I put all of my work on automation and on the shoulders of my team, and started my own dream of exploring the outside world.,

How did I start this blog?

In childhood, I was a very extroverted and stubborn kid but also blessed with a lovely traveling family. My dad used to take me to different places in Uttarakhand and since then I have always been curious and eager to explore every corner of Uttarakhand. 

But, after reaching my college life, I felt a change in myself. I started avoiding people and turned into an introvert. However, I had 3 friends, and we used to explore different locations and hidden spots in Uttarakhand.

Then, one day I was wondering, Uttarakhand is such an amazing place and tourist destination. But, it is not a good idea to keep this thought to myself. I wanted everyone to explore and experience this charming and exciting place. 

Luckily, I had a friend, who is in this industry for a significant time. He advised me to start my own blog on the Travel niche and shared some benefits, like it is easy, efficient and one of the best ways to share your thoughts and experiences.

I didn’t want to waste any time and nor was I scared of any failure, I just wanted to complete this dream of mine. So, I bought this domain called Thrillblaze and the rest is history.

Why I blog

I always wanted to combine my dream of Travelling and my hobby of writing. And, blogging is one of the simplest and best ways to make this dream come true. 

Where I’ve Lived?

I was born in Srinagar, Uttarakhand and since then I have never moved or shifted to a different location. 

Now, I can’t even think of shifting to a different state or city. But, how can I?  I am raised between this lush greenery, clean environment, sky-soaring mountains and the majestic river of Uttarakhand. I have an attachment to all of this.

So now It is almost impossible for me to adapt to a completely new environment with lots of buildings, pollution and noise.  

My Experience

So, let’s come to my history again. So, As I mentioned earlier, I used to visit different locations with my parents, but I started my official travel journey somewhere around 2022. 

Initially, I started with Rishikesh, one of the most famous and religious cities of Uttarakhand. And generally, anyone who is visiting or thinking about Uttarakhand will come across Rishikesh. So, I thought It would be an amazing place to start.

However, Rishikesh alone took several days to explore, because it has several world-famous attractions, the river Ganga, adventure activities and so on.

Then, I focused on nearby locations, hidden spots, and unique places and started to increase my range. Slowly by slowly, I explored a big part of Uttarakhand. And, I have noted every single detail and experience in my personal diary. (Did I mention, I had a habit of writing down various things)

Since then I never stopped. Whenever I get a chance, I pack my stuff, call my friend and embark on a new adventure. Because every place in Uttarakhand is a fun destination itself. So we don’t think of a particular place now.

Why Trust me?

But, wait a minute, why would you trust me (Me, who is not more than a stranger to you)? Well,  I agree that I’m not a professional travel guide or expert. 

But, I’m just like you, a travel enthusiast and moreover a citizen of Uttarakhand. So, since my childhood, school days and college years, I have traveled to every corner of Uttarakhand.

I have traveled a majority of Uttarakhand. Whether it is religious places, historical places, rivers, adventure etc. And, I can provide a personal experience.
